Festival Schedule
2.1
Please arrive early enough (10 minutes before the registration time)
to allow ample time to register at the Registration Counter
located on the 1st floor at the entrance of the hall.
2.2
No
substitutions or change of name of applicants will be permitted.
2.3
Due to the time arranged for the
applicants, we must adhere strictly to the schedule.
2.4
Applicants who fail to show up according to the order will be
put at the end of the session. They can only receive the comment from
the adjudicator and will be awarded no marks.
2.5
The
applicants of Age Group 3-4 may feel uncomfortable due to shy, moody or
emotional instability
so
parents are encouraged to accompany them on the stage if necessary.

Performance
3.1
All the applicants are required to perform the poem
from
memory on the stage
3.2
Applicants should report the chosen poem at the Registration
Counter on the day of the performance.
3.3
All the Applicants MUST choose one poem from the list of
their age group. The adjudicator will stop the applicant if he/she
performs
a
wrong piece.
3.4
Applicants who fail to perform the piece on the stage can
only receive the comment from the adjudicator and will be awarded no
marks.
3.5
Parents
can pick up the applicant after his/her performance at the PICK UP AREA.

General
Rules
4.1
Rules of the Venue
4.1.1
Since the
seating capacity is limited, each applicant with a maximum of
FOUR
accompanying teachers / Parents will be admitted to the sessions at time
slots they are required to perform.
4.1.2
Our
assistants of the function will take charge of the seating and admission
arrangements in the venues.
4.1.3
Parents
are allowed to take photos for their own child. However, in
consideration of the performance of the applicants on stage, no flash
light is allowed during the performance.
4.1.4
No video
or
audio
recording of this event is permitted. Video cameras of any kind are not
allowed without a proper credential issued by Nice & Wise Studio Ltd.
Any person using or attempting to use any of the above may be subject to
removal from the venue.
4.1.5
Parents are responsible for taking care of your children and
your personal belongings. Nice & Wise Studio Ltd is not liable for any
loss and claims.

Prize and
Awards
5.1
Prizes & Awards will be presented at the time of Result
Announcement after the end of the session. All applicants will receive
their comment sheets at the end of the session. If they are not able to
collect them immediately after the session, they need to collect them at
Nice Studio in person before 16th
Jul, 2012.

5.2
The First, Second, Third place winners and 10 consolation
winners will receive their prizes on the stage.
5.3
The
decision of the adjudicators on all artistic matters shall be final.
5.4
The
First, Second and Third place winners will take their trophy in 3 weeks
time with their names engraved.
5.5
If two
or more applicants get same marks, our chief adjudicator will make the
final decision.
5.6
The
decision of the adjudicators on all artistic matters shall be final.
6
Special
Occasions:
6.1
If In case the Australian Chief Adjudicator is unable to come
to Hong Kong due to bad weather, airline stick or any unusual
circumstances, we will arrange another professional to take the place.
6.2
Bad Weather
6.2.1
The
competition will be cancelled if typhoon signal no. 8 or above, or black
rainstorm signal is hoisted,
no refund and no substitution will be arranged in this case,
details shown below:-
6.2.1.1
If the typhoon signal no. 8 or above, or black
rainstorm signal is cancelled before
7:00am,
all the competition
in the
morning
will be
held as scheduled,
or else the competition will be cancelled.
6.2.1.2
If the typhoon signal no. 8 or above, or black
rainstorm signal is cancelled before 12:00nn,
all the competition after 2:00pm will be held as scheduled.
6.2.1.3
If the typhoon signal no. 8 or above, or black
rainstorm signal is cancelled after 1:00pm, all the competition in
the
afternoon
session will be cancelled.
